Caribbean takes over the Big Apple in June

If you haven’t already heard, the Caribbean Tourism Organization’s Caribbean Week will come alive in New York during early June with a celebration of the sights, sounds, colours, cuisine, and culture of the Caribbean.

From June 3rd – 10th, tourism executives, government officials, investors, media, travel agents, artists, performers, celebrity chefs, consumers and students from across the Caribbean Diaspora will come together to participate in a range of activities, entertainment and events that will showcase the diversity and vibrancy of the Caribbean.

We are thrilled to share with potential visitors the many attributes that make us proud to be Caribbean.

Caribbean Week New York is also about serving samples of all that make us unique; it’s about transporting you, even for a brief moment, to experience the passion, excitement, adventure, joie de vivre and brilliant diversity of the Caribbean; it’s about helping you see, feel, touch, taste and live in our world, even for just one week, because we know that, at the end your dream vacation awaits you, in our beautiful Caribbean!

Caribbean Week New York is the largest regional tourism activity of its kind in the New York area. Travel writers come for details on new product offerings and the inside scoop from decision-makers. Tourism planners come to prospect for business in the country’s largest supplier of vacationers to the Caribbean. Travel agents come for the networking and the profit potential among this alluring mix of Dutch, English, French and Spanish-speaking beauties dotting the Caribbean Sea. New Yorkers and Tristate residents come for the Week’s excitement, most especially the Friday night Rum & Rhythm at New York City’s Magnificent Capitale, 130 Bowery.
